How does AutoSno work with Air/Water Snowguns?

The AutoSno System for Air/Water Snowguns constantly monitors outdoor weather conditions and automatically adjusts water flow to each individual snowgun to create maximum snow output with optimal energy expenditure. The AutoSno software is very flexible and customized to meet each customer's unique needs. Snowmaking operators can make manual adjustments at any time at the base station or on the mountain via touchscreen to make different consistencies of snow.

The AutoSno System is now available for our high output Snow Giant V Snow Gun. This is the most economical form of automation for air/water snow guns, as Snow Giant V guns can be spaced far apart (200 to 250 feet, or 60 to 75 meters) on the slopes, so fewer snow guns and automation components are needed to make large quantities of snow.

How does AutoSno work with Low Energy Snowguns?

The AutoSno System for Individual Low Energy Snow Guns is available to automate individual low energy snow guns on a stand-alone basis. It is compatible with all brands of low energy snow guns. It can automate a single snow gun or even hundreds of selected snow guns in a snowmaking system. The automated snow guns can be located on any pipeline within the snowmaking system, including main water pipelines (that feed other lines) and branch pipelines. On startup, the hydrants open so that air and water flow to the snow gun and the snow gun starts making snow. On shutdown, the controller stops snowmaking operations and executes an automatic drain cycle to expel water from the snowgun, water hose, and hydrant to prevent freezing.

The AutoSno Line Charged System is available to automate an entire line of low energy snow guns. It is compatible with all brands of low energy snow guns. Snow guns can be programmed to startup or shutdown automatically based on a preset time or temperature. On shutdown, AutoSno automatically drains the pipeline to prevent freezing. This is the most economical form of automation for low energy snow guns. It works best with snow guns on branch pipelines that can be dedicated to this application.
